| Wow I haven't posted in over a year.. hahaha I wonder who still reads this | | |
| TODAY'S FNH class talked about obesity... It turns out... to be obese.. is really very easy... and it could be something trivial... The example the prof gave in class scared me... Let's assume after you graduate, you get a office job... you no longer have to walk around, whereas in UBC you walk around from class to class... say you lose 15 mins of walking time per day... dat translates into about a 50 calorie gain..... Also, you noticed a starbucks near your office, and once in a while.. you go buy yourself a mocha frap... which is 350 calories... say you buy drink one drink PER WEEK.... 350/7 days = 50 calorie gain per DAY.... 50 + 50 = 100 total gain after graduation... per day... A person needs 3500 calories extra to gain ONE pound... therefore.... in 35 days... dat's a little over a month... you will gain 1 pound.. in a year... 12 pounds... and if you keep the same office job.. drinking a starbucks just ONCE A WEEK for just FIVE YEARS.. you will gain over 50 pounds.... scary to think... just by doing something so little... long term, will cause that much of a change... CAN YOU IMAGINE YOURSELF 50 POUNDS HEAVIER??? | | |
| So today at work.. was very interesting... I saw some random guy come out of the back area of Staples.... so I was like.. okay.. he must have taken something.. or at least tried... so I just went straight to the door.. and wander around for a while... and waited for him to go out... and Lo and Behold.. when he goes out the door, he lifts his bag above the sensors.. so the alarm wont' go off, so I ran out and grabbed him... and pulled him back into the store... WE CAUGHT HIM.. haha it was fun... it turns out he had over $600 worth of HP ink cartridges in his bag..... then we called the cops and he was charged with theft... but after the cop let him go.... one of the staples associates noticed her phone was missing.... and then we realize....... that guy took her fone... coz I remember he had a black phone.. the same one that the staples associate had... WHAT A BASTARD... u steal $600 from a multi million corporation... ok.. it's no big deal... but u steal a $200 phone from a staples employee who makes near minimum wage? that's just low... I really hope this guy gets nailed.. But knowing the lenient Canadian laws.... he mite be just sentenced to do a few hours of community service | | |
| I'm back in HK again.. this time from 5 day trip to Japan... Went on a tour in Japan.. 1st day we went to Disneyland... it was... ok... everything is the same as the one in LA except dat ppl dont' speak much English haha... one thing diff tho... THE GIRLS R SO HOT.. hahahahaha... maybe it's the makeup.... and the fact that they're all tall and skinny.... saw so many hot girls in disneyland.. haha... HK girls have nice body with no face... but JAP girls have nice body + nice face.. haha... and all of them wear miniskirts and high heels... they all look like Wendy Lai... I saw dis girl.... her skirt was so short... u can see 1/4 of her underwear.... O_o... and ppl walk around like it's nothing... and I m like.. HOLY SHIT..... haha ok..dat's enuf.... During the trip everyday had all u can eat breakfast again.. and several other meals were all u can eat... so ... i m extremely fat now.. It doesn't help dat every hotel we went to had a scale... LOL... i guess it''s coz jap ppl r weight conscious... last i checked.. i was 81 KG... HAHAH.. dat translates into naerly 180 pounds..???! I doubt I am dat heavy.. maybe 175... regardless... I AM SO FAT.. OMG I M GONNA WORK OUT EVERYDAY WHEN I GET BACK.... 1 of the all u can eat meals were BBQ meat.... it was so good... u can just go and grab the meat and grill it urself... and so many deserts... haha like cheese cake and a lot of different cakes.... den i was thinking.. hmmm Shirley would probably save half her stomach for desserts and ice cream if she were here haha... We also went to a lot of outlet malls... I bought a few things hehe.. mostly clothes and snacks.. and souevenirs..... ok.. i better go.. Next stop is Beijing.... for 5 days... all this travel is kinda making me sick... I have a cold.. and my back hurts from sitting on the bus or plane all the time lol... i gotta work when i get back too.. i have literallly no money in my back account... coz i just took out some more money..haha | | |
